Academic Services Peer Tutor Program

The goal of our Peer Tutor Program is to assist students in developing strategies that will help strengthen their knowledge of content material and develop study strategies that can assist in their academic success. This website serves as a resource for UMW students by providing a forum for establishing study groups and providing electronic resources to further enrich education (these services may be found under the "Resources" tab). Our tutor training program equips tutors with the necessary skills needed to promote student independence and active learning among their tutees.  academic-services_0
